These 500mm 18mm Aluminium rods are perfect for flues and ducting with a range of sizes upwards of 600mm.

When confronted by a large flue, such as an inglenook (600 mm and above), you may wish to use this rod with the 18mm Solid Rod. It is advisable to use a solid rod as a leader rod. Alternating the solid and aluminium rods gives the entire length a small amount of flexibility.

The 500mm length of this rod allows you to add some rigidity even when a full 1000mm is not required.
