12mm Solid Rod – Brass Click. These flexible, hard-wearing 12mm solid rods are ideally suited for flues within a range of 125mm to 200mm, such as lined appliances, usually stainless steel flexible liners. You can also use these rods in drains and ducting shafts.

Rodtech Brass Click Lock (single button advanced locking system)
This patented design allows the use of a single button D-shaped Ferrule which does not rely on the button to keep the Rods connected. Instead, they lock together, remaining secure.
To disconnect the rods flick your wrist in the opposite direction that the rods were spinning. You will hear a “Click”, place the connected ferrules in the palm of a hand to take the weight off. Finally, use the free hand to press the button.
Anti-Snag Ferrule
This unique design on all male ferrules prevents catching on any shelves or lips within the flue. Centrifugal force spins the Rod against the surface. The contours of this ferrule lift off the obstruction and continue down with no damage. A traditional rod is able to snag on the way down, and increase the risk of getting cut or damaged, especially when at maximum flexibility.
Temperature resistant Rods
Made from unique copolymer Rodtech Rods allow for extreme weather conditions without worry of failure. Designed to be fully functional at -35° maintaining their flexibility. Sterilization of the rods is possible if used on a bee’s nest and need cleaning.

Securely Crimped
Rodtech rods are machine crimped to secure the ferrule to the Rod without affecting the integrity of either material. Crimping is the most efficient way of manufacturing a rod as it leaves no protruding parts that could damage or catch in a liner.
Buttonless Drill Driver
Rodtech click technology can have no button on the drill driver to connect the rods while working from the fireplace/appliance. With the use of centrifugal force as the Rod spins, it will lock to the drill driver. To remove, stop the drill and slide the rod off, Saving time.
