10mm Mini Click Rod
1000 x 10mm Mini Click Rod – the newest edition to our award-winning range, for use in flues up to 150mm where access is very restricted. Maintaining a large amount of flexibility but having a more rigid approach when in the flue. Giving the user more control than before.
The rods use the same material as the 8mm to 18mm, and the ferrules are brass. In addition, They also have a male anti-snag ferrules to stop rods catching on protrusions in the flue, to help with ease of use. The 8mm and 10mm mini click rods are compatible with each other. We have two heads for the rods in the mini click range and adaptors to suit any third-party head that uses M10 or 1/2″ Whitworth threads.
Advantages:
- Extremely Flexible
- More stability than the 8mm Rods when in a flue
We engineered these rods for maximum flexibility capable of going around 45° or even 90° bends. As well as, sweeping heads that can fit into the most restricted access points.
Naval Grade Brass for Complete Corrosion Resistance
Rodtech only uses the highest quality material in the manufacturing of their Rods. This includes UK sourced Navel grade Brass. For hundreds of years, chimney sweeping equipment has used brass due to its nonferrous properties. Rodtech is proud to continue this tradition. Rodtech Brass ferrules are not susceptible to corrosion unlike Aluminium or stainless steel. Therefore, Giving unrivaled longevity.
Rodtech Brass Click Lock (single button advanced locking system)
This patented design allows the user a single button for connection and disconnection. The D-shaped Ferrule does not rely on the button to keep the Rods connected. As the Rods Spin, they lock together, remaining secure. To disconnect the rods a simple flick of the wrist in the opposite direction that the rods were spinning the user will hear a “Click”. Place the connected ferrules in the palm of a hand to take the weight off and use the free hand to press the button. This single-button locking system allows for direction identification when using a camera.
Anti-Snag Ferrule
All male ferrules include this unique design to prevent catching on protrusions in the flue. A traditional rod can snag on the way down, increasing the risk of getting cut.
Buttonless Drill Driver
Rodtech click technology allows for no button on the drill driver to connect the rods. With a centrifugal force as the Rod spins, it will lock to the drill driver, remove stop the drill, and slide the rod off.
Temperature resistant Rods
The unique co polymer used in Rodtech Rods allows for extreme weather conditions. Designed to be fully functional at -35° maintaining their flexibility. In addition, Sterilisation of the rods is also possible in case they are ever used on a bee’s nest and need a clean.
Meter Length Rods
This is important for straightforward valuation on the height of any obstruction in a flue.
Branded ferrules
Branded Ferrules show customers that they have purchased the Ultimate Quality of Rods.
Securely Crimped
Each Rod has been machine crimped with the exact amount of pressure to secure the ferrule to the Rod. Crimping is the most efficient way of manufacturing a rod. Therefore, It leaves no protruding parts that could damage or catch in a liner.
Warranty
A comprehensive 1 Year Manufacturers warranty covers all Rodtech Equipment. We go above and beyond to help our customers with any issues they may have and are always available on the phone or email to answer any questions.
